Vendor registrations are starting to roll in, and we'd like to start introducing them to you.
Janice Courdin, of Monett, Missouri, designs and creates custom jewelry for her business, Jac's Jewelry. She uses glass beads on wire — no stretchy cords — for bracelets, earrings, rings, watch bracelets and ankle bracelets. Janice also can customize items to fit anyone, and can customize colors and styles, as well, including sports bracelets with team colors and name bracelets for small children.
Stop by her booth at our fair April 1-2 to find just the right piece for you!
In keeping with the theme of the Coal Camp Creations Arts & Crafts Fair, we’re reviving something "vintage": the Doo Dah Parade from the early days of Pittsburg’s Little Balkans Festival!
And what better day for a Doo Dah Parade than April Fool’s Day?! Ours will be on Saturday — the first day of our Arts & Crafts Fair — at 2 p.m. Open to anyone in a costume of any type, children, dance teams, cheer teams, jugglers — pretty much anything goes except motorized vehicles.
Organizer Steve Robb is working on finding an Uncle Sam and a drum corps to lead the parade, which will make a circuit around the Mall at least once, or perhaps twice depending on the number of participants. No registration is necessary; just show up at 1:45! We’ll announce more details in coming days!
Meanwhile, take a moment to explore our website and learn more about this new Pittsburg event!
